How many of you love Betty Boop? My mother was a fan from the late 80’s. I have pictures of her dressed from head to toe in Betty Boop. My dad decided her nickname would be “Baby Baby”, and it fit her.
Here is a picture of my mom, in her favorite sweat shirt. She wore this all the time.
My mom’s bathroom was covered up with Betty and each year, my sister and I would purchase something that she would love. From street signs to wall clocks.. (the one where her eyes followed you around the room) Still creeps me out, but she loved it.
Baby baby passed away December 4, 2020, and when she went, my sister and I left all of her Betty Boop things in the bathroom.
I don’t know how to feel about her Betty Boop stuff, just because it meant so much to her and I know that she’s in a better place and could care less now about her materialistic things.
She also loves Indian regalia from the Indian market. We would go every year to the Indian market in Arlington Texas.
Here is one of her pictures for a family reunion.
I believe she was so unique and had her own style. she was one of a kind!
From her childhood to the end, she had style.
I will say, she will always be remembered as Baby Baby.
I had the pleasure of calling her MOM💗
